Hello! This will be my 11th year at BBCES as the reading coach. I taught 5th grade one year, 1st grade one year and Kindergarten for 7 years before coming to BBCES. I am excited for the opportunity to work with you and learn from you this year!

I love spending time with my husband Lee and our three children Kathryn, Jon Davis and Sarah. Most of our time is spent at one of their activities, but if we have free time we like to play board games, be outdoors and travel. I also love to read.
Hello! My name is Chasity Sherum. This will be my first year at BBCES after spending the last 14 years at Sycamore Elementary. I have been a math coach for three years and have taught kindergarten, first grade, and fourth grade in my 17 years as a teacher.

Hey everybody! This will be my eleventh year at BBCES. I spent four years teaching second grade and one year teaching first grade. This will be by fifth year as the Title 1 Coordinator and Technology Coach. I am super excited about the upcoming school year and all of the amazing things that will be happening at BBCMES!

I love spending time with my husband going to both Minor League and Major League baseball games. I also love to read, bake, and play with my dogs, Hank and Harley.
I am so excited to be starting my 26th year of teaching. I graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle) with my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and then graduated from the University of Alabama with my masters degree in Library Science. Over my 26 years I have taught 2nd grade 3rd grade, 6th grade, and spent the last 10 years with students in the library diving into literature, maker space and steam.
I have beea married to my sweet husband for 20 years and have a 16 year old daughter who will be a junior this year at BBCMHS.
