BBCES TIGER TECH DAY FAIR

WHO? The Tech Fair will be open to students in grades 3-6
WHAT? Technology Fair Competition
WHEN? February 17, 2017
WHERE? BBCES


  • Students may only enter up to 2 projects in the Tech Fair which must be in separate categories.
  • Students can work in groups of 4 or less or can compete individually.
  • This competition is an opportunity for students to showcase various technology projects.
  • Projects should be designed and created by students at home or school.
  • Some adult guidance is allowed, but judges will expect students to demonstrate that the work is their own.
  • Please note that with some of the projects, the laptop/computer/device that the project is/was created on, will need to be brought to school for the judges to view the process/project.
  • Teachers have applications available for students who want to participate. We ask that students return the filled out application no later than Friday, February 10, 2017. 
  • On Friday, February 17, 2017, fair projects must be in place for judging at their assigned time. 
  • A team of judges will interview students and score/critique each project. Decisions will be announced on Monday, February 20, 2017 and students who will be advancing to the next level will be asked to fill out the entry form to the JSU Regional Technology Fair.

Celebrating "Digital Learning Day"

K-2 Digital Art Contest

Date: February 17, 2017

Why: To Celebrate Digital Learning Day

Who: All K-6 Students

THREE Winners Will Be Awarded!

Students may only enter 1 piece of digital art in the contest.


Students will use digital pattern blocks to design an original piece of artwork. Digital pattern blocks can be located by clicking the BBC image above.

Students must submit either save a digital screenshot to their Google Drive account or create a printed copy of their final artwork for judging. Screenshot directions are in the image below:
